By Air

Munich is ready accessible by air from most major airports, using both regular or low cost carriers.

For travel to the symposium site from the airport use the local fast transit system (S-Bahn). This is both relatively fast and inexpensive. The best route is to use S8 which takes approx.25 minutes to S-Bahn station at Marienplatz.

At Marienplatz change to the U-Bahn (U3 (direction Olmpiazentrum) or U6 (direction Garching)) and leave at the fourth station, Münchner Freiheit.

From U-Bahn station at Münchner Freiheit it is just 500m to the Kardinal Wendel House at Mandlstr. 23, 80802 München, 0049 (0) 89 38102-0

A taxi from the airport would cost approximately €50-60.
